Why is the 'Deal Lead' Field Required?

An M&A industry-standard best practice is to assign a 'Deal Lead' to all new Targets upon their introduction to a corporation's M&A Pipeline.


This field is also used for security purposes to allow Deal Leads to manage email and NDA settings. 


If the 'Deal Lead' is not known at the time of Target creation, enter the name of the person adding the Target and reassig later.
