      What Are Key Tips In Using the Excel Export & Importing Feature?

      The export-import functionality allows the user to carry out bulk inserts/changes in the Activity Map. 


      Please take the following points into consideration when executing this function.


      • Always export a fresh copy of your data.   

      • Import the edited file with changes into the system on the same day, if possible as when you exported the file.

      • DO NOT tamper/edit the ID or WBS number. Leave it blank for new inserts as these are system-generated numbers.

      • While adding a dependency ensure that the dependent item ID number exists within the file.

      • The Forecast Start date and End date are required fields and should not be left blank.

      • The system rolls-up the date changes from SubTask/Tasks/Milestone/SubWorkstream/ Workstream/Project.  Please make date changes at the lowest level as the system will automatically roll-up the date changes.
