Sell-Side Support within Devensoft Due Diligence

Devensoft now has added support for Sell-Side transactions.

Devensoft's Virtual Data Room Portal is typically geared toward Buy-Side transactions, by way of a Devensoft user (the Buyer) creating a request list in Devensoft and sharing it to the Data Room for response by the target (Seller).

Below is a screen capture of the Data Room where the seller would normally upload documentation for their response:

The portal has reverse capabilities that enable a Target (or in this case, a Buyer) to provide their request list, which can be uploaded into Devensoft by the Seller (in this scenario, the devensoft user is the Seller). Since the Seller is now the Devensoft user, they are the ones responding. To do this, they can leverage the Document Attachment functionality embedded within each request item.

The highlighted yellow arrow in Devensoft's Due Diligence Tab, which is next to each request, will take you to the details page:

Once in the detail page, you'll have the ability to upload documents in response to the Buyer (target). Once uploaded, you simply press the "send to Target" button and the document will appear in the Data Room for the Buyer to review:

We have added additional verbiage to the Notification templates within Devensoft to support Sell-Side Transactions like these. Upon creating contacts for the Data Room, you'll now see an option to select "type" to indicate if this is a Buyer or a Seller, and the default template will change depending on your selection:

The new verbiage and template for "Buyer" will contain the same video insstructions/walkthrough of the Data Room, but will cater to the Buyer as opposed to the Seller. It will display as:
