Program vs. a Project
What is the Difference Between a Program & a Project?
A Program is an entity that you are managing within Devensoft. Examples of a Program include Integrations and Divestitures. A project is a group of activities (or a package) within a Program and is added to an Integration via the Copy Package button.
Within an Integration, there can be a Project called “M&A Integration." Should additional activities be grouped together (aka a package) that are outside of the existing project, another project could be created from the Activity Map, by one of two methods:
- Clicking on the Copy Package button and selecting another package.
- Navigate to the top of the Activity Map and go to the Program level.
- Select the "+" icon to manually add another Project for that Integration.
