Exporting Issues

For users that rely on tracking Issues, the export feature is a great way to efficiently and effectively add Issues in bulk.  Below are the steps to export the Issues template, and add relative content followed by importing the template into the Devensoft tenant.


  1. Navigate to the Integrations/All Integrations menu.

  2. Select an Integration from the Integration Name column.

  3. Select the Issues tab.

  4. Open an Integration.

  5. Select the Issues tab.

  6. Best practices suggest that you have at least one Issue created prior to exporting.  If no Issues are displayed, please create one by selecting +Create.

  7. Complete the Name field and any other fields.

  8. Press Save.

  9. Select Export.  The file opens in Excel. 

  10. Select Enable Editing.

  11. In Column A, ParentName, type Integration.  

  12. In Column B, ParentID, type the number displayed in cell B3.  Type this number for all Issues that you add for an Integration.

  13. In Column D, Name, type the Issue(s).

  14. Your screen will look similar to the one below. Excel rows 5 and 6 indicate newly added Issues that will be imported back into the Integration.


  15. Save your Excel spreadsheet.

  16. Import Issues
